"A European gang plans to hit a bank in Vice City. My employers would rather this didn't happen." -Mr. Black

Autocide is the third assassination contract mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, that is given to protagonist Tommy Vercetti by Mr. Black from a payphone next to the mall in Washington Beach.

Plot[]

Mr. Black overhears that a robbery at a bank is about to take place by European gangsters and he doesn't want the robbery to happen. He has Tommy Vercetti take out the men that will be involved in the robbery by taping each of their probable locations under the phone. Tommy first locates and kills Mike Griffin, desguised as a builder, who is working on a billboard outside the Washington Mall. He then next kills Dick Tanner who is posing as a security guard at the DBP Security building. Tommy then kills Marcus Hammond and Franco Carter who work as carpenters and are sitting in a Bobcat outside the Jewelry Store in Vice Point. Tommy then finds Nick Kong posing as a tourist on a boat docked south of Avery Carrington's construction site and kills him. Finally, Tommy chases down Charlie Dilson riding a PCJ-600 around Ocean Drive and kills him. After eliminating all members of the gang, Mr. Black gives Tommy his reward.

NOTE: This is a timed mission. The player has 9 minutes to kill all of the gangsters. If the player fails to do so, the mission will be failed.
