Havana outfit 2

The Havana, sometimes referred to as the Cuban or Cuban outfit, is an outfit appearing in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The clothing is available to the player at the Little Havana Streetwear & Tattoo Parlor after completing Two Bit Hit. The outfit's appearance is based on one of the members of the Cuban gang, who wears the same attire. The outfit consists of a red bandana, a white shirt with Japanese writing on the front, light blue jeans, and white sneakers.

The outfit is mainly used during the mission "Two Bit Hit," where the player is instructed the change into the outfit to kill a high ranking Haitian gang member in front of the others at a funeral in order to start a gang war between the two parties. Like other outfits in the game, the player can change into it to remove up to a two star wanted level, regardless if the player was already wearing the outfit.

Bug[]

A bug occurs with the outfit. In both the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of the game, if the player completes Two Bit Hit before completing No Escape? and Cop Land, the pickup will appear behind a solid invisible wall that is impassable. This bug is referred to as the Havana Glitch or the Havana Outfit Glitch. To prevent this, complete the two missions first before Two Bit Hit. This bug was fixed in the PC version of the game, as well as other rereleases.

Trivia[]

  • The name "Havana Outfit" is a pun, similar to "Havin' a outfit".
  • The Havana Outfit is the only gang outfit that the player can wear in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, not counting the player using the pedestrian cycle cheat to change into other pedestrians in the game.
