Last Stand is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories given to protagonist Victor Vance by Ricardo Diaz from his mansion on Starfish Island. It is the final mission of the story-line.
Plot[]
After the death of Victor's love interest, Louise Cassidy-Williams, he decides to permanently eliminate the the Mendez Cartel by using the Hunter attack helicopter that he stole to destroy the building with.
Victor departs from Diaz's Mansion and flies over to the building. Upon arrival, he shoots non-stop amount of missiles putting the building under heavy attack, killing several Mendez goons in the process. After a little time, a goon shoots down Victor's helicopter, but manages to make it to the buildings roof before the building explodes.
He heads to the first floor, kills any goons in his way. Afterwords he heads to the second floor, and kills more goons, who are weilding AK-47s and UZIs. After eliminating Mendez's men, he spots Jerry Martinez arriving in a Maverick to finish things up with Victor permanently.
A door leading to a higher floor opens, and Diego is spotted along with a bodyguard, who Victor kills. Diego begins to run to the top floor with Victor chasing after him. Once on the top floor, two Mendez goons start attacking Victor, but he kills them. The helicopter arrives and two goons beside the chopper begin to attack Victor. Victor manages to set the helicopter on fire, causing it to explode and crash onto the roof. Victor then gets put at gunpoint by Diego and Jerry.
After a final stand-off, Victor kills both Diego and Jerry. After the fight, Lance shows up in a black and yellow Maverick, ready for the battle. Victor mentions to Lance that the battle is over and Lance offers Victor 20 keys of coke. Victor tells him that he will never touch drugs again while he gives some of the money to Pete to treat his asthma.

- Jerry Martinez- Killed for setting up Victor at the beginning of the game.
Reward[]
The reward for completing Last Stand is the Winner Outfit. The Hunter is also available for the player to use.
