The Knife is a melee weapon that is featured in the Grand Theft Auto series.
The knife is a moderate melee weapon that takes up the 'melee' weapon slot. Pressing the attack button will make the player preform a slash attack. Also, the player can also preform a fatal stab attack by pressing the attack button for the third time in a row. Body armor doesn't protect the player from any type attack so the player will take damage. Using the knife on pedestrians can attract unwanted attention from the police.
In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the weapon can be purchased from the mall's tool shop for $90. the only time that the player can purchase this weapon from a store in the city. In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, the weapon can only be ofund in an alley in Downtown.

- Downtown, Vice City Mainland- Found in an alley in southern Downtown.
